Articling Salary and Benefits
The current articling salary is $55,000 annually. The student is entitled to participate in The City's extended health, dental and group life insurance benefits immediately upon starting employment. There is a 180 day waiting period for The City's short term, long-term disability and health spending account plans.
The cost of CPLED is covered and the student is allocated time to pursue these courses. The City of Calgary also pays for a Calgary Bar Association membership.
