The Citadel Community Association is collecting winter clothes for donation. They are seeking winter jackets, snow pants, mittens/gloves and toques, for kids aged kindergarten to grade 12. They are also accepting donations of adult men’s apparel for teens. Drop off your donations between 10am and noon at the Community Association.

Bring your own crafting project and join your community for a relaxed weekly afternoon of crafting, creativity and conversation. Whether you are knitting, painting, beading, whittling or more, share your craft with others over tea and coffee. Drop in anytime, no registration required. This event is free for members. Non-members get their first visit free, then pay $5 per visit.

Citadel Community Association is delighted to offer a new yoga program focussing on mobility, healthy aging, strength, flexibility and the mind-body-breath connection. It is designed to bring relaxation, gentle movement, and a profound sense of calm to all who attend. This class welcomes everyone, regardless of age or experience, and aims to create an oasis of tranquility amid the bustle of daily life. $12-14 per class.

Participants are required to bring their own mats.

Join our Absolute Beginners Run Club this September, where we learn to run from absolute scratch. This is a friendly, supportive program designed specifically for people who do not consider themselves runners and do not/cannot run more than a minute or so at a time. Over the course of 12 weeks, we'll start with short, manageable run/walk intervals and gradually build toward completing a 5K.

This class combines cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretch. If you have an injury or are new to exercise, our Fitness Coach can easily modify any movement to make sure you still get the strength, range of motion, or toning results you're looking for.

RLC is a drop-in program held every Thursday from 3pm-5pm at the RCA. Each week, participants are given a fun and creative Lego building challenge, with prompts like “Build something with six wheels!” designed to spark imagination and encourage problem-solving. The program is free for all RCA members, with memberships available for purchase online or at the RCA office. Family memberships are $20 per year, or $10 per year for Fair Entry households.
