Contractors share the responsibility to protect the environment when performing work on behalf of The City of Calgary.
Contractors are responsible to know and comply with laws, regulations, approvals and permits relating to the work being done for The City.
Failure to comply with legislation can result in contract termination as well as prosecution and imprisonment by the appropriate regulator.
