Anderson Road S.E. Paving
Project update – May 2026
Construction on Anderson Rd. S.E. has resumed after the winter break. Work is taking place between Macleod Trail S. and the Deerfoot Trail S.E. boundary.
Our contractor, PME Inc., returned in late April 2026. Crews began by removing temporary concrete barriers in the westbound lanes between Deerfoot Trail and Acadia Dr., and refreshing road markings.
Next, crews will complete concrete repairs and mill selected areas of the road. After that, paving crews will place the final layer of asphalt. New overhead signs will be installed in the fall. Landscaping work will be completed later to finish the project.
The Anderson Road S.E. paving project includes fixing the road surface, as well as replacing sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. These improvements will make the area safer and easier to use for people walking, biking, or using mobility aids.
