- Night Work (Concrete):

- Sunday: All day long
- Night Work (Paving):
- Monday to Saturday: 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
- Saturday to Sunday: 9 p.m. – 8 a.m.
- Bridge Work:
- Bannister Road S.E. Bridge will have long-term lane closures, 24/7.
- At least 3 lanes will stay open each way.
- Noise and Vibrations: Nearby residents may hear or feel construction. We’ll work to reduce this when possible.
- Transit: Transit routes near Anderson Road S.E. might be affected by ramp closures. Check calgarytransit.com for updates.
About the project
The City of Calgary is combining three road projects into one. This helps save money, avoid delays, and make the work safer and easier to manage. By hiring one contractor instead of three, we can reduce the time it takes to finish the work and avoid having too many crews in the same area at once.
The total budget for this project is $17.7 million. It will:
- Improve the condition of the road and bridge
- Make the infrastructure last longer
- Help prevent crashes and make the road safer for everyone
