Fee assistance for group admissions
Discount for not-for-profit agencies
Recreation Fee Assistance for group admissions is available to not-for-profit agencies working with low income individuals or groups who have applied, or are looking to apply to Fair Entry.
Recreation Fee Assistance for group admissions allows your group to more efficiently access recreation opportunities at a reduced rate. Once your agency is approved, Recreation Fee Assistance for group admissions enables you to:
- Bring a group of your clients to one of our indoor pools, fitness, or leisure centres and each client, who meets the low income criteria, pays the reduced Recreation Fee Assistance rate.
- Access Recreation Fee Assistance rates for each client who meets the low income criteria at participating partner organizations/facilities.
Ideally, participants are required to apply to the Fair Entry program which provides them access to not only Recreation, but other subsidized City services. If you are not sure how to get individuals or families within your agency into the Fair Entry program, please call 311 and ask to speak to the Recreation Connector.
Fee Assistance is funded by the City of Calgary, The City of Calgary Children's Reserve Fund and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
