Calgarians who have been approved for Recreation Fee Assistance are eligible to save on green fees at City of Calgary golf courses.

Discount on golf green fees
Fee Assistance for Golf gives you discounted green fees for tee times after 2 p.m., seven days a week, at all City golf courses.
Get up to 10 discounted rounds per golf season. Each time you use the discounted rate, a round is deducted from your 10-round seasonal balance.
Discount rules
- Tee times are subject to availability. All standard booking rules apply.
- Discounted rounds are available for regular public play after 2 p.m. only. They cannot be used for tournaments or advance group bookings.
Fee Assistance for Golf:
- Is for individual use only and may not be shared or transferred.
- Is valid for the current season only. Unused rounds do not carry over to future seasons. Access ends on Oct. 31 or when courses close for the season, whichever comes first.
- Can't be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
- Misuse may result in the suspension or revocation of discount access, at the discretion of Golf Management.
What is one round?
One round is:
- 18 holes or Twilight 18
- 9 holes or Twilight 9
Two 9-hole rounds played on the same day count as two rounds.
How to access Fee Assistance for Golf
Once you’re approved for Recreation Fee Assistance through Fair Entry, you need to complete a Fee Assistance for Golf request*.

Booking a tee time and checking in
You can book tee times that start after 2 p.m.
When you check in:
- Ask for the Fee Assistance for Golf rate
- Show a valid photo ID*.
*Your ID must match the name on your golf account.
If your Fair Entry expires during the season
Any remaining rounds will be temporarily locked.
You can unlock your remaining rounds by renewing your Recreation Fee Assistance through Fair Entry and resubmitting your fee assistance for golf request.
Rain checks
Rain checks for Fee Assistance for Golf rounds follow standard golf rain check practices, with a few limits.
- If weather stops you from finishing your round, clubhouse staff may offer a rain check at their discretion.
- Rain checks are issued only for the amount you paid out of pocket.
- Once you tee off, your discounted round counts as used and cannot be added back to your balance.
- If issued, a Twilight 18 round is treated as a 9-hole rain check.
- Rain checks are not available for Twilight 9 rounds.
