Tour options
School groups
We offer City-supported visits for your school group’s tour. Teachers are asked to book a date and time in advance so the Civic Engagement & Protocol team can plan for your group’s arrival and learning focus. This helps ensure teachers and students receive the information and support needed for a positive and engaging experience.
Capacity
We recommend a maximum of 60 visitors at a time while on your tour and looking at the exhibits. There is no minimum group size.
When are supported school visits available?
Supported school visits are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September to June, when Council or Committee meetings are in session.
Available booking times are 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Please see the Council Calendar to help plan your school's visit.
What if my preferred date is unavailable?
School groups are also welcome to conduct their own self-guided tour during regular public hours without booking a supported visit with the Civic Engagement & Protocol team.
