Visits and tours

Delegation visits and study tours
Delegation visits foster friendly diplomatic relations and may be part of a broader visit and agenda.
Study tours share knowledge of The City's services and contribute to The City's reputation worldwide. There is often an agenda on learning best practices about city services. The visits will include City subject matter experts.
The City ensures a good experience and shared benefit to incoming visiting delegations and study tours.

Join us for a tour of The City's Municipal Complex in downtown Calgary. The tour includes Historic City Hall, Municipal Building and Plaza, Council Chamber and Administration Building.
A Municipal Complex Virtual Tour is now available to watch anytime.
In-person tours are available to students from Grades 5 to 12, post-secondary classes, and community, seniors, youth and service groups.
A tour guide leads your group through the buildings. Your guide provides interesting facts about the buildings and insights about city government.
