Glacier Ridge residents are invited to join us for a Community Safety Meeting Q&A with a Community Resource Officer from Calgary Police District 7, along with representatives from The Calgary Ward 2 Office.

The James Lemonade Stand returns to Evanston Community Park in memory of James Lipowy, an Evanston boy whose courage and kindness continue to inspire others. What started as James’ own lemonade stand has grown into an annual community gathering that brings people together while supporting pediatric osteosarcoma research through the James Lipowy Fund at the Osteosarcoma Institute.

Join us for the Sherwood Multicultural Festival, a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and togetherness, right here in Sherwood! This family-friendly event features: Live music & cultural dance performances, Arts & kids’ activities, Delicious food from around the world, Fun for all ages

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome! Come and celebrate the rich diversity that makes our community so special.

This is a free event! We’re bringing the big screen to Symons Valley Park for another unforgettable Movie Night Under the Stars!

Mark your calendar! The Curbside Treasure Hunt is returning September 12–13, 2026! Place your used items in good condition on your property (next to the sidewalk or curb) for others to take. This initiative gives useable items a new life while keeping them out of the landfill. Click this event for more information!

Citadel Community Association is delighted to offer a new yoga program focussing on mobility, healthy aging, strength, flexibility and the mind-body-breath connection. It is designed to bring relaxation, gentle movement, and a profound sense of calm to all who attend. This class welcomes everyone, regardless of age or experience, and aims to create an oasis of tranquility amid the bustle of daily life. $12-14 per class.

Participants are required to bring their own mats.

Continue your summer reading and join us for our Book Club meeting on Tuesday, September 28th, from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Citadel Community Hall. This month's featured read is Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson

Join our Absolute Beginners Run Club this September, where we learn to run from absolute scratch. This is a friendly, supportive program designed specifically for people who do not consider themselves runners and do not/cannot run more than a minute or so at a time. Over the course of 12 weeks, we'll start with short, manageable run/walk intervals and gradually build toward completing a 5K.

Starting September 14th - December 7th (12 classes)

This class combines cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretch. If you have an injury or are new to exercise, our Fitness Coach can easily modify any movement to make sure you still get the strength, range of motion, or toning results you're looking for.
