• Program owner: The City of Calgary ("we," "us," "our")
• Facility/facilities: Any City of Calgary operated golf courses
• Applies to: Registered PrePay7 holders ("you," "pre-pay holder")
• PrePay7 means the prepaid balance stored in the golf system and linked to your Golf Account, usable to pay eligible green fees and other designated purchases at participating facilities ("Facility").
• "Eligible uses" means transactions the Facility designates as payable using PrePay7 (e.g., green fees, cart fees, practice balls; exclusions may apply).

• Single-user, non-transferable: PrePay7 must be purchased and used by the same person. It cannot be transferred, assigned, gifted, resold, shared, or used to pay another person’s green fees.
• Photo ID: A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check‑in to verify identity and eligibility.
• Account linkage: Your balance is securely stored in the golf system and linked to your Golf Account.

• How it works: The purchase amount is deducted from your prepaid balance at the time of use, and the PrePay7 discount is automatically applied to the green fee.
• Tee times: Tee times are subject to availability and standard booking procedures; no guarantee of availability is provided.
• Where you can use it: Only at participating Facility locations and for Eligible Uses as posted by the Facility.
• Reloadable (default): PrePay7 is a reloadable product. Customers must reload their balance in season when the balance reaches zero to maintain in-season discounting. The City of Calgary may change reload policies with 60 days of notice to customers.

• Each round played is deducted from your PrePay7 balance at check-in, regardless of whether a discount applies. Even during full-rate periods, such as weekend daytime play, the round is still deduced from your PrePay7 balance even though there is no discount at that time — another payment method cannot be used in place of your PrePay7 balance.
• Balance expiry: Your prepaid balance does not expire. The PrePay7 does expire at the end of each golf season. The City of Calgary holds the right to return existing customer balances if prepaid programing/infrastructure is discounted for any reason, providing proper notice of 60 days. Any expiry date printed on a cash‑value prepaid card is void under Alberta’s Gift Card Regulation.
• Your PrePay7 balance is shown on your receipt at check-in and is not available online, in your golf profile, or on the app. 
• No dormancy/inactivity fees: We do not charge inactivity or dormancy fees that reduce value over time.
• Permissible fees only: We may charge only the following fees: (i) a one‑time activation fee at purchase, (ii) a reasonable fee to activate inactive accounts with a prepaid balance, and/or (iii) a customization fee (if applicable). No other fees are permitted.
• Disclosure and receipts: We will disclose applicable terms in clear, simple language, provide a purchase receipt, and make contact and balance‑check information available to you.

• Discount window: Any promotional pricing or discounts associated with PrePay7 are available only if a prepaid balance is carried above zero during the current season or until Oct. 31, 2026, whichever comes first. After that date or customer chooses not to carry a balance in season; normal rates apply. (This discount expiry relates to the promotion, not the prepaid balance.)
• Promotional exceptions: Provinces, including Alberta, permit expiry and special conditions on promotional or charitable cards; however, PrePay7’s underlying balance remains non‑expiring when it functions as a cash‑value prepaid card.
• The City of Calgary reserves the right to expire or cancel any of the promotion pricing at any time, without notice. Any existing prepaid balance that was a direct result from a promotion or discount opportunity can be used as a form of regular payment on fully priced green fees, driving range and power cart rentals in the following seasons.

• No cash redemption: PrePay7 has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
• Prohibited uses: PrePay7 cannot be used to purchase other non-prepaid instruments, settle credit accounts, or pay third‑party balances unless expressly permitted.

• Treat like cash: Protect your account credentials. The City of Calgary is not responsible for lost funds due to unauthorized use prior to receiving notice from you.
• Replacement: At our discretion, we may reissue a card/account (subject to verification) and charge a permitted replacement fee.

• System corrections: We may correct balances and transaction errors where a system discrepancy or operational mistake is identified.
• Fraud and abuse: Misuse, duplication, manipulation, or fraudulent activity may result in immediate suspension or cancellation without refund and may trigger further action.

Final authority: The City of Calgary has final authority over all conditions of use. Management may suspend or revoke privileges for violations of Facility rules, policies, booking procedures, or behaviors standards.

Sales taxes: Applicable taxes are charged at the time of the underlying purchase; you do not pay tax on the purchase of the prepaid balance itself.

Personal information: The City of Calgary collects and uses personal information (e.g., name, contact, birthdate purchase history) to operate PrePay7 in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Contact details for privacy inquiries will be provided on request and on the card/webpage.

Changes: The City of Calgary may update these terms and conditions at any time. Material changes will be posted to the official program webpage or provided at the point of sale. Continued use after changes to take effect constitutes acceptance.

• Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.
• Compliance: PrePay7 is intended to comply with Alberta’s Gift Card Regulation (Alta Reg 146/2008) under the Consumer Protection Act and applicable consumer guidance.
• Venue: Any dispute shall be brought in the courts of Alberta.

• Severability: If any term is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
• Entire agreement: These terms (together with posted program rules and any point‑of‑sale disclosures) constitute the entire agreement governing PrePay7.
