City crews and contractors are using non-potable water (not safe for drinking) to protect golf course greens, allowing them to stay open for Calgarians to enjoy. The use of non-potable water does not impact water supply for Calgarians.
We have seven municipal golf courses at five locations throughout the city. We have golf courses for beginners and experienced players. The amenities at our golf courses vary by location. They can include driving ranges, golf club rentals, pull and power carts, and licensed snack bars.

|Upcoming tree removal at Shaganappi Point
During the week of July 22-26, golf course improvement work will begin at Shaganappi Point Golf Course, including removing trees on our 18 and 9-holes courses. This process will be done in coordination with Urban Forestry, as well as the Urban Conservation program at the City of Calgary. Please respect and follow any signage and fencing in place. Golf balls entering roped off areas should not be retrieved. Expect there to be noise and distractions while this work is being done. Contact 311 with questions, concerns, or comments.
