During water main repairs, pools and arenas remain open. To reduce our water usage by 25%, we are closing hot tubs and steam rooms. Further actions include closing showers at arenas, athletic parks and the Calgary Soccer Centre, not using City drinking water for flooding and resurfacing our arenas and turning off irrigation for the season.

Dive tank - Southland Leisure Centre

Southland Leisure Centre Dive Tank

Our dive tank is a 3.5 metre deep chlorine pool with a 1-meter high springboard diving board. The pool has an average water temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius.

The dive tank is also the exit point for our 175' blue slide.

Information Upcoming preventative maintenance and cleaning

Southland Leisure Centre will be closed beginning Sept. 3 for annual preventative maintenance and cleaning.

Fitness studio, multipurpose rooms, weight room and gymnasium will reopen Sept. 9
Pool and steam room will remain closed until early October

Find an open Aquatic and Fitness Centre

The pool and weight rooms can be used without an appointment. Group fitness requires an appointment.
