What is the scholarship for?

  • This scholarship supports current and previous Youth Employment Centre clients pursuing school or training.

Who can apply?

  • Current Youth Employment Centre clients OR previous clients who have used Youth Employment Centre services dating back to September 30, 2025.
    Must be enlisted in an accredited program for a minimum of one semester, starting in, or continuing, into January 2027.
  • Those attending high school are not eligible. 

How do I apply?

  • Complete the 20-30 minute online application form.
  • Share information about your training enrollment, what motivated you to pursue it, and what makes you stand out.

Applications are open August 5 to September 30, 2026.

Please speak to your Youth Employment Centre employment counsellor or contact at 403-268-2490, if you have questions about the scholarship or application. Only those who are selected will be contacted.

Not yet a Youth Employment Centre client? Those ages 15-24 are encouraged to drop-in to learn more about the scholarship.
