Canada Day

Where: The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland (formerly Fort Calgary), St. Patrick’s Island, Municipal Building

Celebrate Canada Day with a full day of fun, connection and culture for all ages. Enjoy an Indigenous spotlight and powwow, live music, cultural interactive activities, food trucks, face painting and more! Be sure to catch the all-Canadian Main Stage show at The Confluence starting at 3:20 p.m., featuring Lu Kala, Big Sugar, Aysanabee and headliner Sam Roberts Band. Cap off the day with fireworks above Stampede Park just after 11 p.m.
Xiang Long Festival
This event will feature live cultural performances including lion and dragon dances and martial arts, a local vendors market, and other family-oriented activities.
Naija Market Day Calgary
Check out the Naija Market, where culture, community and connections come alive. Hosted by the dynamic Abiodun Adetu, this event promises to be a melting pot of vibrant African culture and an incredible opportunity to expand your social and professional network.
Calgary Night Market
The Calgary Night Market supports local vendors, artisans, entrepreneurs and designers to showcase their talent in a fun and safe place. Explore a culturally diverse market that sells handmade and local goods and indulge in delicious street food.
Family Fun Hour: Art in the Garden
Get ready to play, create, and explore together! Each week brings a new theme packed with hands-on activities for kids ages toddler to 11.

Canada Day, The City of Calgary
On July 1, Calgarians and visitors will gather downtown to celebrate Canada Day. This year’s free and fun celebration includes an Indigenous spotlight and powwow, live music, cultural performances, food trucks, face painting and more. The main stage evening show at The Confluence will feature an all-Canadian lineup, including Lu Kala, Big Sugar, Aysanabee and headliner Sam Roberts Band. End the day with a spectacular fireworks show above Stampede Park.

Canada Day, Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre Association
The Canada Day 2025 Celebration will focus on delivering live cultural performances including multicultural artists, a local vendors marketplace, and various family-oriented activities.
East Village Street Fair
EV Street Fair is a signature Canada Day Street Festival With over 50 vendors, food trucks, musicians, all ages activities, Pup Plaza, market booths, and the 5th Street Square Beer Garden it’s full of entertainment!
Opening Celebration at Eau Claire Plaza
Join The City of Calgary for a community celebration as we officially open the newly reimagined Eau Claire Plaza. Come enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks, fun giveaways, remarks from City Council and live entertainment.
