The service desk is currently not available. You can still apply for Fair Entry at the Municipal Building and the Library across from the Village Square Leisure Centre. Low Income Tansit Passes are available through Calgary Transit.
The Fair Entry program lets you apply for programs and services like Recreation Fee Assistance and Low Income Transit Passes. Be sure to request approval for Recreation Fee Assistance and Low Income Transit if required.
Fair Entry applications and bus passes are available at our front counter.
Recreation Fee Assistance
Customers with a Fee Assistance card receive a 75% discount on general admission drop-in rates at Aquatics and Leisure Centres.
Fee Assistance can be used for recreation programs offered by The City. They can only be applied to the registration fee. They can't be used for pre/post care or extra fees. Programs listed in the Recreation Program Guide are eligible. Some exceptions apply. Note: Fee Assistance can't be applied to online registrations. You must register in-person.
- Apply for the City's Fair Entry program and get approval for Recreation fee assistance.
- Once approved, visit a Fair Entry application office. They are located in the Municipal Building and the Library across from the Village Square Leisure Centre.
- Wait for approval for the Fair Entry program (with Recreation Fee Assistance). Once approved, you can pick up your Recreation Fee Assistance Card. Get your card at any Calgary Recreation Leisure or Aquatics Centre. Bring your Fair Entry approval letter and photo ID. This will help Recreation staff search for your information quickly. You can begin using the card right away. Note: We do not print cards on Stat. Holidays.
