Tire recycling and disposal

In Calgary, you can bring your old and used tires to a City Eco Centre, where they will be recycled or properly disposed of.

Accepted tires for recycling:

• Passenger vehicle tires – rims can be on or off
• Tractor tires – rims can be on or off
• OTR (off the road tires) up to 39 inches – rims can be on or off
• Scooter and golf cart tires – rims must be off

Take tires to the designated tire area of the Eco Centre.

You may bring up to 12 tires per day for recycling at no cost – if you bring other garbage, charges will apply.
