New provincial guidance to limit the spread of COVID-19 in Calgary will restrict certain youth activities at City-operated recreation facilities as of Monday, April 19. We're working to respond to the new directives and will contact impacted customers and partners. Things are a little different this year with COVID-19. We aren't able to provide all the services and amenities as before. We’re also changing how we do things and taking measures to keep everyone safe at our facilities.
Masks must be worn at all times except when participating. Trainers, coaches and instructors must wear masks at all times. 3 metres distancing is required when participating and 2 metres distancing is required at all other times.
Select arenas are open for skating lessons and can be booked for household, one-on-one and youth (under 18) group training activities. Trainers must be professional, certified, paid and provide active instruction. Public skate, shinny and walking track activities are not available.
