Arena tournaments or special events

We book arena time in 15 minute increments. The minimum booking period is one hour.

Arena rates vary as follows. Prices are in effect for rentals between April 1 to March 31. GST is included. A risk management fee of $4.75 is applied to each permit issued.

Fees include access to the dressing room(s) 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your rental time.

We'll tentatively book your time Once we receive your application and confirm the space is available, we will tentatively book your request. A $26.25 non-refundable administration fee is due at that time to complete your Tournament/Special Event permit. Once you application has been reviewed and approved by the site, a permit will be created and sent to you.

Once you receive your permit, a 25% non-refundable payment is due. The remaining balance is then required 30 days prior to the start of the event.

Tournament Definition - competition which involves a number of teams and games, with the overall tournament winner determined based on the combined results of these individual or team matches. A tournament takes place outside of regular league play and is specific to a duration of time. Tournaments can utilize single venues or multiple venues based on number of competitors and size of competition. A tournament must be a booking of consecutive days, which results in title winner. Tournaments are required to show proof of insurance at time of application and the insurance must be associated with the organization or the individual booking.

Special Event Definition – A special event is a one-time nonstandard facility usage. Special events are required to show proof of insurance at time of application and the insurance must be associated with the organization or the individual booking. or infrequently occurring event outside of the regular use of the facility of an organizations playing or booking schedule.

Tip: Prepare to be flexible on date, time and arena location. If your first choices aren’t available, having two or three options on hand will make the availability search easier.

Applications are accepted as follows, starting at 8:30 a.m. First-come, first served.

It takes up to seven business days to process one-time rental applications. We'll let you know the outcome of your application by email.

When cancelling, 25% of the total rental fee plus a $26.25 administration fee​ are non-refundable. The remainder of rental fees will be refunded for canceling a booking provided the cancelation is received by Facility Bookings 30 calendar days or more before the rental date. There are no cancellations or amendments to bookings within 30 days of the booking.

Note: Events/tournament booked in the months of April till August 31st are nonrefundable.
