Fall Prevention Month

Fall Prevention Month

November 2026

Fall Prevention month in Canada is dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging action to prevent falls and fall-related injuries. The City of Calgary recognizes the importance of helping older adults maintain their independence, mobility, and quality of life. By encouraging physical activity, balance and strength training, and community engagement, we can help prevent falls and support healthy aging. Together, we are creating a stronger, safer, and more connected Calgary for all.
