Board reporting | Green Line LRT

The Green Line Board has a mandate to deliver Green Line in alignment with 2020 Council direction and within the committed funds.

The Board is working on behalf of Calgarians and all funding partners to balance the costs and risks with the long-term city-shaping benefits. They rely on the experience and expertise of the Green Line leadership team to make recommendations and invest in ongoing independent, external due diligence to identify, evaluate and validate information and assumptions.

Due diligence reporting process

Green Line board due diligence process

Since 2014, 117 reviews have been completed with 107 reviews performed by third-party contractors. Third parties will continue to be engaged to identify, evaluate and validate information and assumptions, as required.

The majority were performed in 2021 (30) and 2022 (52) and have included: Commercial, Cost/Finance, Schedule, Risk, Technical, Governance, Stakeholder Relations, Environment, Safety and Quality.
